The roster updates the moment a teammate signs in or shifts apps. Avatars, roles, and status dots are the same shape everywhere they appear in the suite, so your team learns it once.

When two of you land on the same record — a deal, a doc, a board — you see each other in real time. No more "are you in here?" pings.
How to use it — open any app and look for the avatar stack at the top right. Click a teammate to follow their cursor.
Channels and DMs without leaving the app
Drop into any channel from the side panel. Messages, mentions, and replies all live alongside the work — not in a separate tool. DMs are 1:1, fast, and auto-collapse when you're heads down.

Pick someone, hit the button, and the suite takes you to whatever app they're in — same record, same view, same scroll position. It's the fastest review-and-handoff loop you'll have.

Skim the cross-app presence strip in #general. You can see at a glance who's in CRM closing, who's in Kanban shipping, and who's deep in Docs.
Land in the same view
Drop a Drive link in #design. Click it and you'll see the cursors of everyone reviewing the same file. Discussion happens right there.
Jump, don't ping
Tag the person you need in #ops, then jump to where they are. The handoff happens in-context — no DM tag, no follow-up "where?" message.
